Different ways of Creating a Presentation
Blank Presentation:
On the Standard toolbar, click New.
The default title layout for the first slide appears. If a different layout is needed, select from the Slide Layout task pane.
Type the text.
To insert a new slide, click New Slide and select the desired layout.
Repeat steps 3rd and 4th for each new slide. Add any other design elements or effects as per choice.
When finished, click Save. Type a name for the presentation and then click Save.
From Design Template:
On the File menu, click New.
From the New Presentation task pane, click From Design Template.
From the Slide Design task pane, select a design template that one likes to apply.
Type the text for the first slide. To have a different layout one can select Format menu and click Slide Layout before typing the text.
To insert a new slide, click New Slide and select the desired layout.
Repeat steps 3rd and 5th for each new slide. Add any other design elements or effects as per choice.
When finished, click Save. Type a name for the presentation and then click Save.
AutoContent Wizard:
On the File menu, click New.
From the New Presentation task pane, click From AutoContent Wizard.
Now from the AutoContent Wizard, select the presentation type that best fits one’s needs. Click Next to move on the next step. To move to the previous step, click at Back button.
Decide and select the presentation style. Choose the output that wizard should generate. Click Next.
Now, it is time to select the presentation options. One can enter Presentation Title, Footer information in this step. One can also tick the check boxes to display the date last updated and the slide number on every slide.
So, all the basic questions have been answered, Click Finish button.
Now a presentation with some slides in it guides one the kind of contents it requires.
o To enter one’s information, go to the desired slide by clicking the desired slide number. Then type own information.
When completed, click Save button. Type a name for the presentation and then click Save.
From Existing Presentation:
On the File menu, click New.
From the New Presentation task pane, click From Existing Presentation.
Under New From Existing Presentation, select the desired presentation.
Click, Create New.
Make the changes to the existing presentation and save it.
