Tables are a great way to organize data.


Two types of Inserting Tables In Microsoft Word

First Method:

Put the blinking cursor on the page where table is to be inserted.

Click the “Table” button in the top menu bar and HOLD DOWN the mouse button. A Grid will appear below the arrow.

Drag the mouse down and to the right until the required table size is highlighted.

Release the mouse. An empty table appears in the document.

Second Method:

Click on “Table” in the top menu bar.

Now click on “Insert Table…” in the drop-down menu.

That will bring up the window. In this window specify the number of rows and columns.

Another option is to specify the look of the table by clicking the “AutoFormat…” button and choosing a table style.

When finished click the “OK” button and table will be inserted into the document.
