MS-Word provides the Autocorrect feature for automatically correcting the common typing and spelling mistakes.

To open the Autocorrect dialog box, the following steps are followed:
Select Tools menu.
Select Autocorrect command.
The top part of the Autocorrect dialog box deals with capitalization:
The option “Correct Two Initial Capitals” leaves only the first letter capitalized when one type that starts with two capital letters and then the rest lowercase letters. For example, SUman becomes Suman.
The option “Capitalize first letter of sentences” capitalizes the first letter of the first word of the sentence.
The option “Capitalize first letter of table cells” capitalizes the first letter of the first letter of table cells.
The option “Capitalize names of the days” makes sure that the days of the week (Sunday, Monday and so on) begin with a capital letter. That is why ‘sunday’ is changed to ‘Sunday’ Reed More..
Steps to add the Autocorrect entry are:
From the Tools menu, choose AutoCorrect.
